Brant are arriving in large numbers from Siberia to spend the winter on our coasts. They feed on algae and plants on the foreshore, grasslands and salt marshes. To investigate the spatial distribution and sea movements of wintering geese, the Migratlane-telemetry program team is going to capture around twenty of them and fit them with GPS.
